Quality & Certifications
At LARE, quality is a culture, not a measurement. Our customers will tell you that we cater to their every need and that we are highly innovative, responsive, dedicated and most competitive too.
LARE products meet the following certification requirements: International Organization for Standardization (ISO-9001-2015) and Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHAS 18001-2017).
The QA/QC-HSE departments use their own equipment including most accurately calibrated devices for measurement, tests and non-destructive examinations.
Technical specifications of raw material, strength properties and UV content of components are checked with respect to the international standards.
Quality control process in LARE comprises three major steps:
- Material inspection and testing
- Process inspection and testing
- Final quality control
Throughout the material inspection process, yarn is tested for width and strength. Once yarn is woven, fabric is tested once again for width, fabric weight, weaving density in addition to the strength of the warp and weft. Samples taken out of fabric are also tested for UV resistance. The fabric testing goes through over 200 hours of testing process. The process inspection also applies to the final quality control where the bags are measured and visually checked to ensure customer specifications.
Finally, the bag goes through various tests on our rig machine involving the following parameters:
- UV resistance
- Coating performance
- Raw Material property
- Melt Flow Index (MFI)
- Ash Content
Our production process is able to track back all the way to the raw material, to identify any problem. Using the traceability of quality assurance system, all non-conforming products are marked in the plant using special means. These stringent quality assurance programs require not just machines, but large trained staff and LARE has the capacity to scale in production in a short span of time given the strategic location of its factory in rural India.
